Links #2025-41 - Seven links and some contemplation
You wouldn't know it from the amount of links I can present to you this week, but life, or more specifically work, has been very busy lately. As a result I have not given nearly enough attention to these weekly posts for some time now.
One would think nothing is more simple than to put a couple of links in a list and hit publish. And one would be right. After I removed the short introductions, publishing a new post is done in seconds.
However, I have noticed that my busy schedule have made me so impatient that I am starting to pay less and less attention to the things I read on the internet. That when I realize I found something good, instead of enjoying it, I start rushing to the end, just so I can log the URL and move on.
This will likely change next month, when my current assignment concludes. Nevertheless, this feels unsatisfactory, and I have been pondering about a change in format. Perhaps I should only make new post whenever I have three or five items, even if it takes a couple of weeks? Perhaps I should keep it one link, but try to write a bit of text to explain why I found it interesting? Maybe I should just not bother with the links at all. Just write posts and become a "proper" blogger. Maybe I should do whatever feels right.
I guess what I am saying is: it is time for some experimentation. Writing takes time, so it will go slow. But no worries, you can always check out my blogroll to find other interesting feeds that will keep you entertained.
With all that said, I somehow managed to stumble across seven posts that spoke to me. Here they are. Have a nice day!
(Incidentally, I don't have anything booked yet for November and onwards. I you know someone who needs a Go developer, check out my resume. You can use a platform on this page to contact me.)
